KATE NOWLIN - ‘Our Sergeant’

Kate Nowlin is an actor/writer/producer. Named one of "25 Screenwriters to Watch" for 2017 by MovieMaker Magazine & Austin Film Festival .  She is the lead actress in the film, "Blood Stripe," which she also co-wrote and produced. She has had recurring roles on various cable and network television shows, most recently the WGN series, "Outsiders," as well as "The Carrie Diaries," "Rubicon," and "Mercy." Her film work includes "Anchorman 2," "Young Adult," and "The Adjustment Bureau," among others. She has played NY stages such as The AtlanticTheater, The Little Shubert, Second Stage and the Rattlestick. Her regional work includes the Guthrie Theater, Dallas Theater Center, The Huntington, Yale Rep, Westport Country Playhouse, Denver Center and The Shakespeare Theater in Washington DC, where she was nominated for a Helen Hayes award. She holds an MFA from Yale where she received the Herschel Williams Acting Prize. Her BFA is from Southern Methodist University, where she was the recipient of the Greer Garson Acting Award. 

CHRIS SULLIVAN - ‘Rusty’

Chris Sullivan is best known for playing Toby on the breakout hit NBCTV series THIS IS US and  "Taserface" in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 2, as well as Irish ambulance driver 'Tom Cleary' in Stephen Soderbergh’s series THE KNICK with Clive Owen. Sullivan recently shot features LIVE BY NIGHT with Ben Affleck, MORGAN with Paul Giamatti, and IMPERIUM with Daniel Radcliffe. He can also be seen in the new Netlfix series STRANGE THINGS. Prior to joining the cast of THE KNICK, during his first two years in New York, Sullivan had film/ television roles in Ryan Murphy’s THE NORMAL HEART, THE DROP with

Tom Hardy, and THE AMERICANS. Also during that time, he was seen on Broadway in the play LOMBARDI, and in musicals CHICAGO (as ‘Amos’) and George Gershwin's NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT, opposite Matthew Broderick and Kelli O'Hara. Yes, he is a triple threat. Look out Hugh Jackman! Before moving to New York, Sulliivan worked in theater in Chicago (including his Jefferson Award nominated role for MYSTERY OF IRMA VEP, Tony Kushner’s THE ILLUSION, and productions at the Goodman, Chicago Shakespeare, Royal George, and the Court.) Little known fact, Sullivan’s voice may be familiar to you as the voice of the Geico hump-day camel.   When he is not acting, he writes music and plays with his band "Sully and the Benevolent Folk.” 

RENE AUBERJONOIS - 'Art'

Award winning actor René Auberjonois has had a long illustrious career on Broadway and in television and film, both in front of the camera and behind as a voice over actor.  Having grown up with a Pulitzer Prize-nominated writer as his father and a Swiss post-Impressionist painter as his grandfather, René has been exposed to different forms of art his entire life.  René attended Carnegie-Mellon University where he studied theater. After graduating, he performed with a variety of theatre companies including the San Francisco American Conservatory Theatre, the Arena Stage in Washington, D.C. and the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles.  René’s Broadway work includes the musical “Coco” co-starring Katharine Hepburn in which he won a Tony Award, and the musical “Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” in which he won a Drama Desk Award. 

In television, René received Emmy nominations for his outstanding work on “The Practice” and on “Benson.”  He is also known for his roles on the TV shows “Boston Legal” and “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.”  His film credits include The Patriot with Mel Gibson, the Korean War comedy M*A*S*H, Inspector Gadget with Matthew Broderick, and Batman Forever with Val Kilmer.  René won a Grammy award for his work as “Chef Louis” in the beloved Disney film The Little Mermaid. Other notable voice work includes the animated shows “The Legend of Tarzan,” “Pound Puppies” and “The Super Powers Team: Galactic Guardians.”

RUSTY SCHWIMMER - ‘Dot’

Rusty Schwimmer was raised in Chicago where she grew up a fan of the theatre, music and the Chicago Cubs, Bears and Bulls. In her formative years she endeavored to be a singer but quickly found her way to acting and was soon drawn from the world of theatre in Chicago to the land of opportunity in Los Angeles. Rusty quickly found work in film and television. Some of her favorite films are A LITTLE PRINCESS, TWISTER, ED TV, PERFECT STORM, THE RUNAWAY JURY and NORTH COUNTRY. She also enjoyed roles in the television film THE MAN WHO CAPTURED EICHMANN for HBO and the series THE GUARDIAN, GILMORE

GIRLS, PICKET FENCES, NED BLESSING as well as guest starring roles on LOUIE and SIX FEET UNDER. Ms. Schwimmer’s more recent work includes the feature THE SESSIONS opposite John Hawkes, THE HAWK IS DYING opposite Paul Giamatti & Michelle Williams, the television mini- series BROKEN TRAIL opposite Robert Duvall and THE INFORMANT, directed by Steven Soderbergh and starring Matt Damon. She can be seen in the features THE BELKO EXPERIMENT (produced by James Gunn), AMERICAN FABLE and WILD HONEY.
She recently relocated from Los Angeles to Chicago. 

TOM LIPINSKI - 'Fisherman' 

Tom Lipinski is a New York based actor who began his career studying at Brown University. Tom has recurred on numerous television shows including  "Orange is the New Black", USA’s “Suits”,  Fox’s “The Following,”, as a regular on the second season of Cinemax’s “The Knick”, and the ABC Miniseries “Madoff,” playing Bernie Madoff’s son, Mark. Tom has appeared in a variety of movies most recently Netflix’s “Mercy” (opposite Caitlin Fitzgerald and James Wolk) and “Blood Stripe”; other films including “Labor Day” (Toronto Film Festival premiere), “Dial-A-Prayer” (opposite Brittany Snow and William H. Macy), as well as Paulo Sorrentino’s “Youth” (2015 Cannes Film Festival premiere).
